    • Assumes all duties of the classroom Teacher and/or LTA
    • Follows instructions/plans left by the classroom Teacher
    • Ensures there are sufficient supplies in the classroom to carry out lesson plans
    • Maintains normal classroom routines and discipline
    • Spends the entire assignment working with and for the students
    • Reports/communicates/collaborates regularly with classroom Teacher

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in education or related field required.
    • Minimum of two years of experience working with persons with disabilities and/or challenging behaviors is preferred.

     

     

  • Qualifications

    MINIMUM EDUCATION

    Graduate from an approved school of Nursing School, Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, Master's Degree preferred.

    MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

    Minimal of 2 years of supervisory experience.

    Proven strong clinical skills and strong communication skills.

    REQUIRED LICENSES

    Registered Nurse

     

    Must be licensed by the State of Kentucky or compact state

    BLS certification – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.

    ACLS and PALS certification highly encouraged Must obtain and maintain current certification within 3 months
