GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PRIMARY PURPOSE

Responsible for financial analysis, preparation of management reporting data, budgeting & forecasting support. Collaborates with the accounting and management team to support accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with established policies and procedures and collaborates on special projects to facilitate divisional decision-making.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

• Responsible for maintaining management reporting data, rationalizing the reporting packs where needed and recommending additional reports and analyses that support the effective monitoring and control of the business.

• Responsible for supporting the annual budgeting process and the monthly forecasting process, considering the costs, revenue and balance sheet activity of the business in order to provide reliable information to support overall divisional and company financial planning.

• Responsible for supporting special project analyses with all DFFNA Management including evaluating investments and the competitive environment.

• Responsible for providing additional support to the division’s management, accounting and reporting functions to ensure that any differences between business expectations and reported numbers are investigated and resolved.

• Responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the internal control environment to support overall best financial reporting practices.

Required Skills

EDUCATION:     BS/BA in Business/Finance required

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:    ENGLISH, SPANISH KNOWLEDGE HELPFUL     

WORK EXPERIENCE:    3-5 years business/cost accounting/financial analysis experience required.

OTHER:   

• Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and Power BI preferred but use of similar analytical tools and accounting systems is also relevant
• Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Highly skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with SQL server or other database management systems

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Domestic travel will be required
