Dolphin Swim Club is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its Corporate Office. This position will record and maintain all financial transactions in the general ledger, process payroll, administer the company’s SIMPLE plan and work with the external accounting firm on year-end tax preparation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Input daily receipts and invoices into Quickbooks general ledger
Initiate monthly direct payments from customers
Process accounts payable and other payments
Prepare bank deposits
Reconcile bank and other accounts
Administer SIMPLE plan
Process biweekly payroll
Maintain payroll database
Generate reports for management
Respond to miscellaneous surveys, questionnaires, audits as they come up
Assist with preparation of year end taxes
Interface with internal facility management as well as external contacts
Records retention
Other duties as may arise
Requirements and Qualifications
Flexible part-time hours (25-30)
Degree in accounting or related field preferred
3+ years of bookkeeping experience
Quickbooks experience
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills
