    Job Description

    The Analyst-Finance position will integrate financial and operational data to perform insightful analytics on key financial metrics. This position will leverage a variety of data and analytical methods to prioritize initiatives and develop recommendations to achieve finance and operational objectives. They will work closely with leadership to support metric reporting, store level P&L management, and process improvement initiatives.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

     

    85% FINANCIAL & KEY METRIC REPORTING

    ·       Lead existing financial and operational reporting activities for domestic stores and development

    ·       Partner with various internal users to determine goals and expected results of their analytic initiatives

    ·       Use knowledge of data analytics, aggregation, visualization, and modeling techniques to develop and improve the sophistication of finance-driven data solutions

    ·       Make reporting more actionable and real time (this will require building dashboards and visualizations of complex data sets and building scalable processes that help deliver more timely data)

    15% P&L DATABASE ADMINISTRATION

    ·       Lead PWR (database used to house finance and operational data) P&L submission process

    ·       Audit annual and quarterly submissions for accuracy

    ·       Follow up as necessary with franchisees, accountants, or operations to reconcile data

    ·       Track submission compliance and report on non-compliance activity

    Serve as system administrator to address ad-hoc requests

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or another quantitative field
    • 2-4 years relevant work experience in a quantitative or analytical role, preferably within finance
    •  Demonstrates strong accounting and financial analysis knowledge
    • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and tasks
    • Experience leveraging data visualization tools (i.e., Power BI or Tableau)
    • Ability to communicate financial information to various operational audiences (store leadership to VP)
    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with Hyperion, MicroStrategy, and Peoplesoft is ideal
