    ABOUT THIS ROLE: Reporting to the Fundraising & Communications Officer (FCO), the Donor Engagement Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all activities related to the processing, tracking, recording, and reporting of charitable gifts received by CCSS, as well as data processing and record maintenance. This position works closely with the FCO on all aspects of gift administration, data management, and special projects. The Donor Engagement Specialist will collaborate with members of the Development team to define, develop, and implement core processes that support revenue efforts while ensuring clarity, alignment, and collaboration in a matrixed environment. The DES is responsible for the research, development, writing, and reporting of all development processes and procedures. Overseeing donor prospecting, research and being the point of contact for all in-kind and community fundraising donors is also a major part of the responsibilities.

    Schedule: M-F 8AM-4PM / occasional weekends and evenings

    Job Description: Stewardship and Engagement:

    · Oversee the automated entry of all monetary and in-kind gifts

    · Assists and aides in the maintenance and integrity of the confidential donor database,

    · Create, update, improve and maintain policies and procedures for all Development internal processes

    · Design, maintain and analyze CRM dashboards for the Development team and run monthly statistical, financial, and donor reports.

    · Lead regular meetings and trainings across teams to operationalize systems and processes that support the Development team

    Research:

    · Drive the donor identification and moves management process by using Bloomerang and DonorSearch data to screen and research prospects, elevate new potential donors and deepen relationships with existing donors.

    · Implement standardized procedures for fielding prospect research requests and disseminating research.

    · Fulfill timely research requests for leadership as requested, providing thorough, digestible, and actionable summaries that enable effective relationship building.

    · Use a variety of resources (i.e., Working knowledge, Google, Bloomerang/CRM, DonorSearch) to assess potential donors’ capacity and propensity to donate, as well as to identify upgrade potential and opportunities for current donors.

    Fundraising:

    · Responsible for the direct solicitation of in-kind donations to meet CCSS client needs.

    · Manage the annual Holiday giving programs in conjunction with the Operations team.

    · Ensure the success of all Community Fundraising events hosted by outside donors.

    · Provide administrative support for the CCSS Auxiliary Administration Duties:

    · Development team lead for coordinating all bulk mailings and serves as the main contact from the USPS Bulk Mailing Manager and main liaison to any contracted mail house.

    · Assists with donor recognition efforts assigned by the FCO/Director of Development.

    · Coordinates the Commemorative Bricks Program, reaching out to donors/honorees, working with ED and FCO to write content and working with agency staff to ensure installation.

    · Assists in the planning and execution of small donor engagement events.

    · All-hands on-deck events and activities may include, but are not limited to: Gala, Golf Outings, networking events etc.

    · Maintains an accurate, complete, and thorough understanding of all programs and services at CCSS.

    · Maintains familiarity with the PQI process and how to access information and reports.

    · Maintains development drive files in hard copy and electronic formats in an organized and consistent manner.

    · Works on/assists with agency and development social media and marketing as directed by FCO and ED.

    · Supports development of donor-focused publications

    · Prepares monthly reports as directed for Executive Director

    · Other duties as assigned by FCO or Executive Director
