    Job Title: Doorman / Lobby Attendant (Full-Time) – Hi-Rise Residential Building
    Position Type: Part-Time
    Pay: From $21.35 per hour
    Expected Hours: 16+ per week

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a professional, courteous, and dependable Doorman / Lobby Attendant to join our team at a high-rise residential building. This part-time position involves ensuring resident and guest satisfaction while maintaining a secure and orderly environment. Candidates must be flexible, customer-focused, and able to handle emergency and building operations with confidence and discretion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Service & Communication:

    • Greet residents, guests, and visitors warmly and professionally.
    • Answer phones and respond to inquiries courteously and efficiently.
    • Log and relay resident or guest concerns to appropriate personnel.
    • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

    Access Control & Security:

    • Monitor entrances and ensure only authorized individuals access the building.
    • Screen guests, contractors, vendors, and deliveries according to protocol.
    • Verify IDs when needed and enforce building access policies.
    • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed.
    • Monitor and operate CCTV, elevator control, electronic gates, and other security systems.

    Emergency Response & Incident Management:

    • Respond promptly to fire alarms, medical emergencies, elevator malfunctions, and power outages.
    • Follow building-specific protocols for evacuations, water damage, and severe weather.
    • Communicate effectively with emergency services and complete incident reports.

    Building Operations:

    • Assist residents with packages, deliveries, and maintenance requests.
    • Maintain cleanliness in the lobby, elevators, and other common areas.
    • Assist with resident notifications, computer records, and event logistics as needed.
    • Keep accurate logs: daily journal, key/equipment logs, and package records.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience as a doorman, concierge, or security professional preferred.
    • Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual fluency a plus.
    • Ability to remain composed under pressure and in emergency situations.
    • Working knowledge of electronic security systems and access control.
    • Proficiency in using basic computer systems and office software.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in hospitality or business is desirable.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
    • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
    • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions (for outdoor duties).

    Schedule:

    • Weekends and Sick/PTO Coverage
    • Weekends and holidays as needed
