    Job Description

    DPR Construction is seeking a DFH Foreman(Doors, Frames and Hardware) with 2+ years of commercial construction experience. Previous experience is required within DPR’s core market projects - Life Sciences, Healthcare, Higher Education, Commercial, and Advanced Technology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ability to communicate with all roles (internal/external/suppliers/manufacturer tech services)
    • Exceptional understanding of overall scope of work
    • Ability to plan ahead
    • Excellent problem solver
    • Provide instructions and delegate work to crews
    • Recognize and start solution process
    • Demonstrates effective listening skills
    • Ability to resolve conflicts
    • Read plans, evaluations and drawings with complete understanding
    • Manage and delegate task with appropriate personnel
    • Understand project schedule and productivity
    • Create Pre-Task Plan for the entire job
    • Mentors Craft Team's development in producing a project

    Qualifications:
    The successful candidate will:

    • Manage and oversee the creation of all Pre-task planning for the crew
    • Read and understand drawings
    • Read and understand Hardware Schedules and Door Schedules
    • Understand Schedules and how to accomplish a 2 week look ahead.
    • Ability to recognize and train crew member as needed
    • Knowledge of current industry standards (ACSI, SDI)
    • Experience installing doors, frames and hardware
    • Oversee the sign-in and sign-out sheet for payroll/Entering time
    • Computer Skills (Blue Beam, BIM 360, Plan-Grid, Excel, Outlook, Box)
    • OSHA certified
    • DHI COR101 (Recommended)
    • Forklift Certified
    • Productivity Tracking Management
    • Ability to execute an action plan
    • Understand man loading process for production
    • Coordinate with other trades
    • Ability to meet deadlines & effectively communicate and delegate to the team
