    Dorhout Retirement Services is looking for an Account Specialist to join our quickly growing team! This role will require you to manage application submission and account transfer follow-up for new and existing clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering incoming client calls, outbound follow-ups, database management, and financial planning duties, along with meeting preparation and note-taking. This is an exciting opportunity to build a business and help clients secure a retirement, that they've worked their entire life for. You will be a Swiss Army Knife, playing a vital role in organizing and moving business for the team! Responsibilities: • Complete and process New Business applications • Update & review database/CRM to reflect account status focused on new business and/or service • Maintain an organized, compliant, and efficient filing system • Follow up on pending business and contact individual clients with updates • Assist Financial Advisors with pre-appointment requirements and financial planning responsibilities • Prepare, manage, and track the new business pipeline • Assist Advisors with client support, mailings, educational workshops, and client events as needed • Act as phone back-up to other members of our team • Maintain current Advisor’s licenses and appointments Qualifications: • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license • You will need 3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma preferred • Should have working knowledge of a CRM • Applicant must have strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills • Prior experience working in the financial industry • Life Insurance & Securities License(s) preferred • CRM experience preferred Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 yearly
