Job Summary

We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team at Doris Metropolitan Steakhouse. In this role, you will welcome guests, lead them to their seats, and introduce them to the server. You will also answer phones, make reservationsand refresh menus. Your goal is to quickly build rapport with patrons and make them feel welcome. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and committed to providing an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests with a smile.

Seat guests at their tables, taking into consideration server availability and guest needs

Provide guests with menus

Answer phones

Take detailed messages for our private party coordinator

Refresh menus

Learn Resy system

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a host/hostess, server, or busser is preferred

Friendly and outgoing personality

Excellent communication skills

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
