Dorsia is an invite-only app launching Spring 2022 that will provide VIP dining access & experiences for its curated member group. With Dorsia, members can secure prime time reservations for coveted tables at the best restaurants in the world, starting in New York, Miami, and the Hamptons.

Dorsia is seeking an Account Associate (NYC) to join our small, growing team. Reporting to the Account Manager, you will coordinate with our restaurant partners to ensure member reservations are confirmed in a timely manner, and provide support to our restaurant partners as needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality and client services, can thrive in a dynamic & entrepreneurial environment, can exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, and has strong written and verbal communication. This position will cover the hours of 2pm to 10pm EST, working on a shift rotation with other Account Associates.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Educate restaurant operators to raise the level of hospitality they offer through Dorsia’s platform and ensure restaurants are providing an optimal member experience

• Nurture restaurant relationships post-sale and reinforce the value in our partnership while also fulfilling restaurant technical needs

• Manage daytime and evening member reservation confirmations with our restaurant partners

• Provide support to our restaurant partners and escalate critical issues to Account Managers

• Lead with subject matter expertise and find creative solutions to operational challenges

• Collaborate with internal team members to deliver on the needs and feedback of restaurant partners and members

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Background in, and passion for, the restaurant or hospitality industry

• Experience with reservation management systems and restaurant operations

• Experience working with high profile restaurants in the NYC area

• Reputation for handling situations and confidential information discreetly, projecting a positive, professional, and supportive outward image, and exercising good judgment

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Experience in a tech-driven environment, such as experience supporting a SaaS platform, is a big plus
