Dorsia is an invite-only app launching Spring 2022 that will provide VIP dining access & experiences for its curated member group. With Dorsia, members can secure prime time reservations for coveted tables at the best restaurants in the world, starting in New York, Miami, and the Hamptons.
Dorsia is seeking an Account Manager (Restaurants) to join our small, growing team. As one of our first employees , you’ll report to our Head of Hospitality and be an integral contributor toward ensuring restaurants are seamlessly onboarded onto our platform.
The ideal candidate will have extensive operations experience in the luxury hospitality sector, as our inventory is composed of elite restaurants looking to deliver the best in hospitality, with a clientele who are accustomed to the level of service offered at top-tier establishments and experiences. You must be able to work under pressure at times, creatively problem solve, and deliver rapid-fire solutions. Leadership experience is a must, as this role will oversee hiring, training and building out a team of direct reports. Experience in a tech-forward environment is strongly preferred.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
In collaboration with the Head of Hospitality, meet with restaurant stakeholders to develop an onboarding experience, flow and materials, and contribute to the process from genesis to execution, ensuring seamless assimilation onto the platform (including how restaurants manage their availability and how guests book reservations and events)
Build and manage a team of Account Associates who will provide support to our Miami, NYC, and Hamptons members and restaurant partners
Gather feedback from restaurant partners and work cross-functionally to optimize the product & strategy
Lead with subject matter expertise and find creative solutions to operational challenges
Nurture restaurant relationships post-sale and reinforce the value in our partnership while also fulfilling the restaurant technical needs
Coordinate reservations/requests for restaurants; confirm bookings as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in the restaurant / hospitality world
3-5 years of experience as a team leader
Reputation for handling situations and confidential information discreetly, projecting a positive, professional, and supportive outward image, and exercising good judgment for the position
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
Outstanding interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Prior experience as an account manager at a tech company is a big plus
