Your job as a Cashier/Barista is an important role because you create a wonderful experience for each of our guests, and ensure the highest level of service. The Cashier/Barista makes sure each guest has a great experience by meeting their every request according to the hotel standards.

As a Fresh Cashier/Barista, you will:

Successfully maintain a very upscale atmosphere for our guests.

Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service for all customers.

Provides quality food or beverage products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.

Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

Act as cashier ringing up purchased items. Ensure accuracy in handling cash, credit card, and room charge transactions. Maintains cash drawer and cash balancing at end of shift according to established departmental procedures. Sets up, breaks down, cleans, and restocks as necessary.

A solid understanding of Micros computers.

Communicate with the Culinary team to fulfill guest requests promptly. Assure presentation of all menu items that adhere to established standards. Monitor food and beverage expiration dates and food spoilage to ensure only the freshest food items are sold. Weigh and measures portion control products consistently. Ensure all food and beverage items are stored and labeled properly according to health standards.

Anticipate customers and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues. Communicate information to the manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a comfortable and productive environment for all during shifts.

Fundamental Requirements

Prior barista/food service experience is preferred. To be successful, you will need basic English communication skills. This job requires standing and walking 100% of the time, regularly bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, and the ability to perform repetitive motions for the entire shift. This job requires you to be able to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 30lbs. We administer pre-employment background checks.
