    We're on the lookout for a director of sales committed to helping our busy hotel meet its sales goals. You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. Responsibilities: • Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goals • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures • Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to identify and secure new catering opportunities. • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to continuously expand and enhance our catering services. Qualifications: • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales through lead-generation and closing • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required Compensation: $50,000
