We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Responsibilities: • Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads • Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment Qualifications: • This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance • Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software • Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly
