    The Doubletree by Hilton Washington DC North is hiring a Banquet Supervisor. Apply today to join our busy hotel! Responsibilities: • Lead the Banquet team in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience. • Plan opening/closing assignments • Ensure that all public areas are neat and clean*Coordinate with banquet staff set-ups, changes, and time schedules for all functions as a banquet server; setting up, greeting, and serving the guests and breaking down the function • Inspect banquet areas at the end of the function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean • Know the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation method for each item to be served • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications: • Banquet Supervisor experience is required preferably in a hotel or resort • Superior communication skills to provide information and associated services to hotel management and guests • Ability to transport up to 30lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines • Proven team player • Must have availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays Compensation: $20 per hour plus gratuities
