We're seeking a friendly, motivated, and reliable laundry attendant that strives for guest satisfaction during their stay. We hire enthusiastic individuals who enjoy interacting with guests and making them feel at ease. Responsibilities include loading/unloading and operating commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers and ironing/folding equipment. There will be hand folding of guest room and banquet linen as well. You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis. Responsibilities: • Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management • Dry clothing and linens after each wash cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions • Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions • Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low • Inspect all linens to identify stains and remove stains with appropriate cleaning products and techniques Qualifications: • At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills Compensation: $15 - $15.50 hourly
