    Job Description

    SUMMARY This person will be part of the team responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and tracking key performance metrics for a NYSE listed REIT. This individual will work closely with the Manager of FP&A, Vice President of FP&A, and other key business stakeholders. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES · Prepare and analyze quarterly materials including financial analysis, office and residential leasing statistics, and market data for internal and external reporting. · Assist with the forecasting and budgeting processes for office and residential properties · Review and analyze monthly budget variances and other key performance metrics · Assist in all other FP&A responsibilities and other special projects. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting · Prior work experience in finance or accounting, preferably in real estate industry · Demonstrates ability and motivation to learn quickly · Highly proficient in Excel. Experience with MRI is a plus · Strong analytical and critical thinking skills · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product · Ability to establish and effectively manage relationships with company stakeholders · Self-motivated enthusiastic individual who works well in a team environment under tight deadlines · Strong organization and time management skills to permit managing multiple projects at once Company Description Douglas Emmett operates approximately 18.2 million square feet of Class A office space and over 4,300 luxury apartment units in nine highly desirable submarkets in Los Angeles County, six of which are located in Los Angeles' Westside - Brentwood, Century City, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, the Olympic Corridor, and Westwood - and three submarkets in the San Fernando Valley - Sherman Oaks/Encino, Warner Center/Woodland Hills, and Burbank.
