Retail Associate – Haircare, skincare, and Aveda products!

At Douglas J Aveda Institutes & Salons we are seeking a Guest Services Associate to help us ensure our guests have the best experience possible.

Our trendy, downtown locations:

Michigan: Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, Rochester Hills, and Royal Oak
Illinois: Chicago, near the Lincoln Park area
Tennessee: Knoxville

About the position:

We’re seeking a Guest Services Associate who enjoys making our guests’ day exceptional. You will help cultivate our guests’ experience by:

• Providing a smooth check in and check out from their service(s)
• Managing guest flow throughout the day
• Assisting with retail recommendations and purchases
• Performing Aveda Rituals of Renewal, such as the hand and arm massage
• Reserving all guest appointments by providing knowledge of services offered, booking times, and prices
• Confirm all guest appointments to remind them of their appointment

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• A serving heart and a charismatic, approachable personality
• Starts at $14.00/hr, with opportunities for bonuses
• High level of comfort using computers and a cash register, with the ability to learn new systems efficiently and effectively
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including a combination of days, evenings and weekends
• An extremely organized and detail oriented person
• A team player who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
