Doula Apprenticeship Program (Case Management Track)
AEIC Case Management LLC – Dallas/Fort Worth Area Position Type: Apprenticeship / Training Program Status: Non-Paid Learning Opportunity Schedule: Flexible, Part-Time
About AEIC Case Management
AEIC Case Management LLC is a community-centered agency providing resource navigation, mental health support, and family-focused services across Texas. Although AEIC is not a doula agency, we recognize the need for future doulas to gain hands-on experience—especially those who do not yet meet the requirements for the Medicaid Children & Pregnant Women (CPW) program.
To support the growing maternal health workforce, AEIC offers a Doula Apprenticeship Program structured within our case management environment, with supervision from our team and optional external access to experienced doulas for birth-specific mentoring.
This program blends non-clinical case management skills with doula readiness training, preparing apprentices for real maternal support work.
Program Summary
The AEIC Doula Apprenticeship provides a structured pathway for individuals seeking to become professional doulas while gaining experience in a supportive, case management-focused setting.
Apprentices will:
Learn how to connect clients to community resources
Observe client interactions within a case management framework
Build foundational doula support skills
Gain supervised exposure to prenatal and postpartum needs
Receive optional guidance from external doula mentors for birth-specific skills
This is an introductory, learning-centered apprenticeship — not a clinical or independent doula role.
