About the Role:

Cecilia Holistic & Wellness Center in Northern California is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Doula or Birthing Specialist to join our growing wellness team. This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals and families through one of life's most transformative experiences in a nurturing, holistic environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to clients during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum

Develop personalized birth plans in collaboration with clients and their care teams

Offer prenatal and postpartum home or office visits to educate and support clients

Assist with comfort measures including breathing techniques, positioning, and massage during labor

Serve as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for clients navigating the birthing process

Coordinate with midwives, OBs, and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care

Maintain accurate client records and follow-up documentation

Requirements:

Certified Doula credential (DONA, CAPPA, or equivalent certification preferred)

Prior experience supporting clients through labor, birth, and postpartum recovery

Strong knowledge of holistic birthing practices and natural wellness approaches

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, reassuring demeanor

Ability to be on-call and available for unpredictable labor schedules

CPR/First Aid certification required

Empathetic, culturally sensitive, and client-centered approach to care
