Position Overview: The Doula Program Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the doula program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients. This role involves coordinating with doulas, clients, healthcare providers, and community organizations to support maternal and infant health. The Coordinator will also play a crucial role in professional development, training, and support for doulas within the program. As a Community Health Worker, responsibilities includes managing a small caseload, conducting assessments, and making referrals. Some field work will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
o Coordinate doula assignments and client matches.
o Ensure clients receive comprehensive support throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
o Address client concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.
o Provide ongoing support and supervision to doulas.
o Organize and facilitate regular training and professional development opportunities.
o Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback to doulas.
o Maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations.
o Represent the doula program at community events and meetings.
o Advocate for maternal and infant health within the community.
o Maintain accurate records of client and doula interactions.
o Prepare reports on program activities, outcomes, and impact.
Managing a small caseload

Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in maternal and infant health, program coordination, or a related area.
· Certification: Certified Doula preferred.
· Skills:
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
o Knowledge of maternal and infant health issues and community resources.
