DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time STAFF SCHEDULER to join our hospital support team.

As a STAFF SCHEDULER, you will be responsible for ensuring that staffing requirements for every work shift comply with organizational goals. This involves preparing and organizing work schedules for employees to make sure that the required or appropriate number of personnel or staff are on duty in every given work period or shift. They will ensure that staff receives required work hours according to work status, work to minimize over-time hours, keep staff phone numbers updated, and maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

• Minimum High School graduate, advanced degree in math or veterinary technology or related field beneficial
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role of staff shift scheduling; medical or hospital setting highly preferred 
• Strong computer experience in a variety of software systems required.
• Any suitable combination of the above.

Wage: $20-25/hour DOE
