Client Liaison
DoveLewis is a non-profit, AAHA-accredited and VECCS Level 1-certified client focused and teaching hospital in NW Portland. Our mission is to provide the best emergency, critical care, and specialty care for companion animals, and to support veterinary professionals and the animal-loving community. To achieve this, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch client service to our clients and practicing the best in emergency and critical care to our patients. We are seeking SWING AND OVERNIGHT CLIENT LIAISONS to join our team. We currently have swing and overnight shifts available.
The Client Liaison is responsible for providing support to the client service representatives in relation to client matters including providing clients with updates on their pets, making clients feel comfortable while at DoveLewis, post visit phone check-ins, as well as other administrative and hospital floor duties. This position will work to develop a rapport with clients while they are at DoveLewis to learn how to best assist them in getting the best hospital experience possible.
The wage for this position will be $20.00 to $25.00, depending on experience. Plus an OVERNIGHT differential for applicable shifts. Our employees receive generous health benefits, a veterinary discount, and accrued vacation time.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
Three years of experience providing administrative and/or customer service support in a professional environment.
Minimum of one year experience in a veterinary facility and familiarity with veterinary terminology, medications, and procedures preferred.
Experience using veterinary practice management software preferred.
Any suitable combination of experience or education will substitute.
