Acquisition Analyst

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Must be able to travel up to 20% nationally

1. Effectively communicate organizational standards and procedures to clients by demonstrating knowledge of applicable functions and recognizing differences in servicing processes. 

2. Accurately read mortgage documents and reports to confirm data converts correctly into MSP (Black Knight). 

3. Review screen prints, client reports, conversion output, and data files for each event, advising project managers, data mappers, and/or client of data clean-up, verification or mapping errors; covert files to Excel to manipulate data for review. 

4. Assist Servicing Operations with review of client data files/reports, questionnaire, and analytical findings in preparation for due diligence and data mapping. 

5. Work with internal departments to establish client-specific procedures. 

6. Handle higher volume and more complex cases with accuracy and efficiency. 

7. Ensure completion of all tasks in accordance with the Project Plan, updating the Plan with tasks, completion dates, etc. 

8. Actively participate in meetings to provide status reports and identify and resolve potential issues. 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: 

1. Monitor and stay current in mortgage servicing matters as well as organizational policies and procedures. 

2. Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training. 

3. Train and mentor junior staff members. 

4. Maintain high levels of cooperation and rapport with team members to promote accurate and efficient operations and service. 

5. Formulate and communicate suggestions that may improve profitability and/or productivity. 

6. Additional duties as assigned       

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 

2. Minimum of one years’ experience in a corporate analytical position 

3. Proficient with Microsoft applications (including advanced Excel skills) 

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

5. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills 

6. Ability to handle complex, multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment 

7. Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact in a positive and professional manner at all times with all levels of both internal and external audiences 

PREFERRED/OTHER QUALIFICATIONS :      

1. Minimum of one years’ experience in the mortgage servicing industry 

2. Experience with MSP Platform by Black Knight 

3. Atlassian Jira End User experience
