A summer full-time position (and potential for part-time during school year) is available at the Dover Veterinary Hospital. Under direction of the Lead Technician, the individual will assist in the daily operations of the hospital. Responsibilities include assisting veterinary technical staff with animal care, helping process laboratory samples, maintaining medical records, upkeep of surgical instruments and surgery suite, along with general facility maintenance duties such as, receiving shipments, cleaning, and grounds maintenance. This would be a great position for aspiring veterinarians or veterinary technicians. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants in the animal science field. Preference will also be given to applicants with prior veterinary experience. Physical Requirements: Candidates should be able to lift 30 lbs.
