    Job Description

    OVERVIEW:

    Dowell Holding Group, Inc. (DHG, Inc.) was founded in 1999 and is the parent company of multiple import/export operating divisions. The largest division focuses on food service disposables and packaging.

    This position will work within the food service disposables and packaging division, primarily in the role of customer service and data entry in an inside sales capacity with one of DHG’s largest accounts. Ideal candidate should have some data entry and sales experience, but training will be provided. Candidate will work under the VP of this division.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    General responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Providing prompt responses/actions to all customer requests.
    • Handling order entry, confirmations, complaints, etc.
    • Verifying information on incoming orders.
    • Completing new item load forms.
    • Updating item pricing in system.
    • Communicating with clients on order status.
    • Assisting in solving issues related to order shipments.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
    • Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Highly organized with excellent time-management skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written.
    • Must possess basic math skills and grammar skills.
    • Strong attention to details, with ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines.
    • General computer use experience and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
