We're looking for:

Business Development Specialist in Portland, OR| Full-Time

Job Responsibility:

• Work collaboratively with the Business Development department on strategy alignment with the Business Development Specialist Asia and the Digital Business Systems Specialist to support all functions with the development of measures to increase penetration and portfolio size in all DTFS NA & Asia markets. (20%)
• Facilitate and develop new core business accelerator opportunities, products and technologies PoCs in alignment with DTFS functional areas (e.g. Credit & Ops, S&M, F&C, etc.) and DTNA. (50%)
• Business Relationship Management: Foster and maintain productive relationships key partners in DTFS HQ Functions, DTNA functions, DTFS NA & DTFS Asia, Daimler Truck AG, as well with external partners Facilitate transparency and alignment of Business Development insights and activities with DTFS Leadership, Strategy and IT in North American and Asia. (20%)
• Project Management: Manage special projects, including company-wide strategic programs and assist in the development and execution of DTFS NA strategies to maximize efficiencies and profitable growth. (10%)

This dynamic individual must have experience:

• Sales/Relationship building
• Business Development and Project Management

Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

• Accounting- 1 year of experience
• Business (General) - 3+ years of experience
• Finance - 1 year of experience
• Sales - 1 year of experience
• Strategy - 3 years of experience

Education:

High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:

• Accounting
• Business Administration
• Economics
• Finance
• Information Technology
• Marketing

Additional Knowledge:

• Project Management - 2 years of experience
• Consulting - 2 years of experience
