Job Description

The Purification Process Development team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support therapeutic protein discovery efforts. This role involves hands-on protein purification, analytical characterization, and data documentation to advance biotherapeutic development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute protein purification workflows using aseptic techniques to ensure delivery of endotoxin-free, highly pure proteins for in vitro and in vivo studies.
• Design, perform, and troubleshoot experiments using a variety of preparative and analytical techniques, including:
  • HIC, SEC, IEX, and Mixed-mode chromatography
  • CGE, SDS-PAGE, IEF, and ELISA
• Analyze and summarize experimental data and maintain accurate records in client-provided electronic lab notebooks (ELNs).
• Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners, proactively communicating issues and seeking guidance when needed.
• Stay flexible and open to learning new techniques and technologies as project needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in industry therapeutic protein discovery or biochemistry research.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and scientific software such as Unicorn, Empower, and ChemStation.
• Experience with bioconjugation techniques, laboratory automation, or programming languages is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Andover, MA, are encouraged to apply.
