Looking for a part time babysitter to pick up my two sons (ages 6 and 4) on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week from their school in FiDi (3:20-3:30 pick up time), take them out to playground after school, work with them on math, reading, writing, take them to activities, and help with mealtime and bath time. Our nanny will also be around and tending to our daughter. We'd also like to find someone who is interested in helping out Saturdays from 4-8, and occasionally on weekday mornings from 7 - 8:40 (drop off at school). Ideal candidate has experience with kids, has a passion for engaging through sports, arts, education, chess, martial arts, language (Mandarin or Spanish preferred) or some sort of specialty to also help foster their development. Candidate will also be open to other tasks around the house like helping organize kids' rooms, cleaning dishes after mealtime, folding kids laundry, etc. Candidate must be responsible, flexible, comfortable (and excited) by young kids, and a good communicator, knowledge of downtown Manhattan. Prefer someone who works/attends school in the downtown area. Strong preference for someone who can start ASAP in September and continue throughout the school year. Pay is $20/hr. Ideal hours would be 3:30 - 7 pm T/Th, and 4-8 pm on Saturday evenings.
