Youth Soccer Coach - Preschool (Ages 3-5)- Downtown Manhattan

Pay will be hourly (between $20-$50 per hour dependent on experience)

Downtown United Soccer Club (DUSC) is a youth soccer club based in lower Manhattan. We provide soccer programs for players of all backgrounds & skill levels.

Currently we are recruiting for coaches to run our curriculum based classes for players aged 3-5 years old (Mini Ballers Program). These are 10 weeks in duration (weekday & weekend options) and cover the fundamentals of soccer; dribbling, passing, turning, shooting.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Experienced working with Pre-School / Kindergarten children

• Preference will be given to candidates with a recognized - background in playing and coaching soccer.

• We are especially interested in candidates from a drama or teaching background

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Be a leader by creating a fun environment for children with an emphasis on player development, fundamental skill building (ball control, dribbling, passing, turning, shooting)

• Develop age appropriate session plans that are fun & engaging

• Create a environment that encourages learning & development- Be creative, animated, energetic, warm and welcoming

• Grow and enhance program value for all class participants

• Excellent communication (written & verbal)
