POSITION SUMMARY: Primarily responsible to operate continuous feed printers, which place variable data on assigned stock. Printing statements, letters, inserts, and other reports as needed.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate two to three printers at one time
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical failures as they occur on each printer
• Interpret internal job packet instructions
• Loading and unloading of stock at the printers
• Operating of auxiliary software
• Follow proper maintenance protocol to keep printer’s running efficiently
• Maintain quality standards based on Quality Check procedures
• Completing all training required by the company
• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training
• Strong computer skills
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to understand and interpret instructions, oral and/or written
• Experience operating an inkjet printer preferred, not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use both hands and fingers to handle loading, unloading, and operating of the equipment. The employee is occasionally required to use both feet to work machine-based foot pedals and operating of the equipment, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is exposed to the following:

1. Moving Mechanical Parts
2. Cleaning fluids & solvents
3. Oil for lubrication of machine
4. Paper dust
5. Moderate to high noise level which may require hearing protection
