Job Description:

The goal of the role is to help bring traditional software development practices in the cloud, like continuous integration/delivery, A/B testing and application versioning. 
Most of the tools used will be either AWS managed services, or Apache tools from it’s big data stack. 
This role will also work closely with data scientist and other application developers, in which will require the person to be comfortable making small changes to Python, Java, or Spark applications to fit the infrastructure as needed. 

Qualifications

AWS Solutions Architect Certification is a big plus. Strong familiarity with the following AWS services: S3, EMR, EC2, VPC Familiarity with Apache ecosystem tools like Spark, NiFi, Hadoop, Kafka Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery paradigms Experience with linux and docker administration/deployment Other skills: Java, Python, Jenkins
