    Title Accounting Intern Job Reference 19-0003 Post Date 1/2/2019 CARC Yes City/Location Fairbanks State AK Point of Hire Fairbanks, AK Company DL - Doyon Limited Reports To Accounting Manager Starting Pay DOE Type of Position Intern FLSA Status Non-Exempt Hours 8am-5pm Schedule Monday - Friday Description JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Intern will assist the Accounting Department with all aspects, including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, filing and copying. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Enter journal entries and data into the accounting systems Filing Assist with processing expense reports Sort mail Account reconciliations May assist with other projects as requested Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Knowledge of account reconciliation Proficient in Excel spreadsheets and data entry Ability to perform accurate and timely work in an organized and efficient manner DOYON LIMITED CORE COMPETENCIES: Commitment to Excellence Identifies what needs to be done and takes action to achieve a standard of excellence beyond job expectations.
