Parkview Optometry in Irvine, is seeking enthusiastic individual that is professional, all smiles and radiates all things positive. We are a modern and state of the art Optometry Practice that prides itself on having some of the best Doctors in the country, modern equipment, and quality products (frames and lenses). We are passionate and nerdy about what we do.

We are also special in that we do Dry Eyes as a specialty and Complex Contact Lenses (Scleral Contacts).

Ideally we are looking for a experienced optician who has the potential to grow and be a leader at our growing office.

If the right person with less experience applies, we are still excited to meet you and if the fit is right, we would train you. Character, integrity and personality will always catch our attention.

1 year minimum optical experience required.

FULL Time - Approximately 32-40 hours a week, hours may vary slightly.

Must Work Saturdays - Closed Sunday and Monday

Custom fits spectacles and precisely places prescription in lenses. We use Spark.

Take and records measurements, adjusts or fits eyewear correctly, thorough and exact in details; ensures finished eyewear meets standards and patient needs via lifestyle.

Troubleshooting, assists peers with difficult or complex areas of product needs and prescriptions.

Possesses the ability to multi-task (or rapidly refocus), prioritizes and manages time with competing priorities.

Presents, celebrates and educates at time of dispense for patients.

Takes pride in practice appearance, shows initiative to keep clean, attractive and organized. Secures and protects company assets within control.

Possesses a “can do” spirit and strong drive for results; self-motivated with a desire for continual learning and improvement.

Performs other duties as assigned by Practice Manager or as business needs.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, outstanding customer service, educating and assisting patients in selecting their glasses frames and lenses, taking patient glasses related measurements, presenting and dispensing glasses, adjusting and repairing glasses, maintaining glasses inventory, front desk customer service duties, answering phones, verifying and billing insurance plans and communicating with doctors, staff, and patients. We are a cross-trained team.
