    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks.     Key Responsibilities:

    - Greet and prepare patients for examination, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
    - Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
    - Accurately record patients' medical history, vital statistics, and other relevant information in electronic medical records.
    - Perform routine laboratory tests and administer injections/vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers.
    - Handle scheduling of patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals efficiently.
    - Manage and organize medical supplies, ensuring examination rooms are well-stocked and sanitized.
    - Serve as a reliable communication link between patients and healthcare providers.
    - Handle follow-up calls and coordinate with pharmacy and laboratory services.
    - Support administrative functions such as filing, faxing, and handling telephonic inquiries.

    Qualifications:

    - A Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential is preferred.
    - Previous experience in a medical assistant role or similar capacity is an asset.
    - Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare operations.
    - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
    - Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic office software.
    - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
    - High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Work Environment:

    - The role may require standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
    - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
