Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate has an associate's degree from a certified school and previous experience as a Dental Assistant. Responsibilities
Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
Record medical history.
Prep and sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Schedule appointments
Take dental x-rays
Assisting in the lab to make dental impressions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Qualifications
Current BLS certification required.
At least one year of experience working as a Dental Assistant.
Must have access to reliable transportation.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Must have the ability to work well with others.
Must be organized and have good communication skills.
CPR certified preferred (or willing to get certification before start).
Good computer skills
Schedule Monday 8-5 Tues & Wed 8-6 Thursday 8/5 Friday-Sunday Off
