POSITION SUMMARY

The Draftsman supports Engineering, Production, and Customer Service by preparing and maintaining technical and production drawings, generating project take-offs and quotations, and assisting with special projects as directed. This role ensures accurate, organized documentation and facilitates smooth communication between departments to support efficient project execution.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Engineering and Production with Production, Technical and Documentation drawings of different required components and assemblies.

Work in Quotations and Customer Service Department to provide project Take offs, Drawings and quotations as required by interdepartmental coworkers.

Assist with special projects or assignments as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

Associate degree or equivalent work experience.

1–2 years of experience in lighting or related industries (customer service, inside sales, or similar).

Architectural lighting industry experience is a plus.

Technical Skills

Proficient with PC platforms and software: Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred (not required): SAP, AGI, AutoCAD, Photometric ToolBox, Bluebeam Revu.

Quick learner with strong organizational skills.

Communication & Teamwork

Professional, self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize urgent requests, and follow up effectively.

Fluent in English.

Energetic, people-oriented, tenacious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and education, as this role is open to a range of skill levels.
