    Schedule: Full-Time

    Location: Liverpool, NY (Must have the Ability to commute/relocate)

    Compensation: Hourly- $28-$45

    Job Summary: We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our growing team of healthcare professionals in a pediatric urgent care setting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask both independently and with a team to work productively and effectively within an energetic, complex, fast paced environment. This includes assessing and treating patients' various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. In addition to providing high-quality patient care the ideal RN will possess the necessary knowledge and communication skills to answer patient/family questions and easily relate and connect with the pediatric population.

    What You'll Do:

    ● Efficiently manages and facilitates smooth patient workflow through urgent care. ● Responsible for collecting patient health history and vital signs in addition to performing a physical assessment, collection of specimens, providing treatments, and performing diagnostic point-of-care testing. ● Administer medications and injections, change/apply wound dressings/splints/trauma dressings, as required by treatment plan. ● Counsel and educate patients, and/or their families, on treatment plans. ● Assist the practitioner with examinations, procedures, and other duties as assigned. ● Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete documentation using a computerized medical record process. ● Prepare exam rooms, including maintenance, sterilization of equipment, and stocking/restocking supplies. ● Demonstrate clear and kind communication with all team members. ● Effectively communicate medical inventory needs. ● Contribute constructive criticism and team building in a productive and collaborative environment. What You'll Need:

    ● Treats from newborn to 21 years of age, plus the families ● Excellent knowledge of emergency nursing care methods and procedures with a minimum of two (2) years prior experience in an emergency department, urgent care, or busy medical office. Pediatric experience is strongly preferred. ● Must submit to background check ● Outstanding organizational skills, clinical judgment and critical thinking, analytical and problem solving abilities required as related to various aspects of patient care. ● Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State. ● Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or the ability to acquire certification prior to the first day of employment. ● Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or the ability to acquire certification prior to the first day of employment. ● Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or the ability to acquire certification prior to the first day of employment.
