    Role Responsibilities:

    • Work independently or with minimal supervision to assist the mechanical team in applying engineering technology principles, methods, and techniques.
    • Handle non-routine and complex tasks, including planning and conducting projects of limited scope or parts of larger projects.
    • Assist a Professional Engineer in designing and producing HVAC and plumbing documents for commercial construction, covering various sectors like K-12, Higher Education, Medical, Office Buildings, Churches, etc.
    • Work closely with the mechanical team, Professional Engineers, and other disciplines, demonstrating creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    Essential Duties:

    • Utilize design software for calculations.
    • Design and model mechanical and plumbing system components using Revit for construction documents.
    • Collaborate with electrical engineers, structural engineers, and architects to coordinate design elements.
    • Contribute to and assist in maintaining Revit libraries and details.
    • Conduct site visits for design information gathering.
    • Engage in construction observations and support construction administration duties including handling Submittals, RFIs, and CCRs.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
    • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
    • Experience with Trane Trace 3D is an advantage.
