Paramount Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Drayage Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Rancho Cucamonga. This role plays a key part in coordinating import and export drayage operations for containerized cargo. The ideal candidate has experience in freight forwarding or drayage, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring accurate shipment tracking, documentation, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive A/N and delivery order with data entry
Track shipment from SSL & Terminal on releasing status, and CBP exam if any
Provide shipment update to the customer - shipper and consignee
Coordinate with dispatcher and receiver to arrange the delivery, with troubleshooting issues in a timely manner
Prepare and review freight invoice with proper documents
Process incoming and outgoing shipments
Communicate with customers while providing exceptional customer service
Request quotations for shipments, schedule trucking deliveries
Keep accurate shipment records
Utilize own research, relationships, experience, problem-solving, and analytical skills to bring in potential customers
Other duties assigned by team leader
Requirements
Freight Forwarding: 1 year (Required)
Basic computer skills (E-mail, Web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word)
Fluency in English (Verbal & Written), Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is a plus
Excellence customer service with troubleshooting ability
