POSITION SUMMARY:

The caser is responsible for operating a case erector. Other responsibilities include: changing tape in the case erector, removing jammed boxes and moving completed corrugated boxes to pallets

JOB FUNCTION: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following: __

• Support gluer uptime by ensuring erected cases are delivered in a timely manner by the personnel within the area.          
• Training case erector personnel on shift
• Perform case Erector make readies   
• Perform Operational PM tasks on case erectors
• Execute SAP work orders on the case erectors
• Assist with conveyer jams
• Perform quality inspections on incoming corrugate
• Operate the down stroke bailer          
• Organize and maintain corrugated inventory for use on the WOS gluers.
• Constant bending and stooping         
• Constant lifting and carrying corrugated up to 25 lbs.          
• Occasional reaching to change tape on the case erector       
• Must wear safety shoes, safety glasses and ear protections  
• Must be able to work in an environment that is dusty, noisy, hot and humid

Required Skills

• Demonstrate good interpersonal & leadership skills.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience.
