    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great customer service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, and is able to remain calm under pressure.

    Responsibilities

    Rapid Email and Customer Response: Respond to all customer inquiries, including availability, quotes, load status updates, rescheduling, or missed emails, within 15 minutes or less.

    Swift Quote Management: Provide quotes to customers within 15 minutes of receiving the request, demonstrating our commitment to responsiveness and service excellence.

    Load Management: Accept and confirm new loads from customers promptly, ensuring seamless coordination of transportation services.

    Efficient Work Order Entry: Enter work orders into our system within the day of receipt, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all documentation.

    Incoming Call Assistance: Assist with incoming calls, addressing customer concerns and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

    TMS System Setup: Set up new customers in our Transportation Management System (TMS), ensuring accurate and timely data entry.

    Dispatch Support: Assist dispatch teams with various activities as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

    Load Scheduling and Updates: Schedule all loads with customers, update the system with dates and times, and ensure timely communication of pickup numbers and Last Free Day (LFD) information.

    Prepull Management: Confirm prepulls of all containers for import and export moves with customers, updating the LFD sheet accordingly.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED

    Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred

    Comfortable using computers and customer management software

    Excellent phone and verbal communication skills

    Understanding of active listening techniques

    Ability to work well under pressure

    Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
