What Our BCBAs Do:
As part of the position, the BCBA may:
Provide case supervision and case management for ABA therapy programs for children and teens with Autism
Provide parent training on the principles of ABA and behavior analysis
Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs)
Conduct functional behavioral assessments/analyses
Conduct assessments, e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PDDBI, Vineland-3
Develop individualized treatment plans (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions) and monitor client progress towards goals
Prepare written progress reports and treatment plans
Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with Autism in the clinic, home, and school settings
Ensure compliance with insurance requirements for session notes and data, treatment plans, case supervision, RBT requirements, etc.
Requirements:
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Must be licensed with the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board
Must be able to pass a Criminal History Background Check
Must have excellent writing and communication skills
Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask
Must be able to work well as part of a team
