THE POSITION DETAILS

The OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE will be responsible for accomplishing the sales plan in assigned territories and accounts. Carry on and implement agreed upon Marketing Plan which meets both individual and department goals of expanding the customer base in the marketing territory. Work with the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain high activity standards (prospecting, daily cold calls, number of appointments per week, etc.)
• Manage prospect funnel accurately and effectively.
• Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, cold calls, premise visits, networking and attending networking events.
• Present our products and services with sufficient knowledge and understanding.
• Sales proposal development and presentation.
• Build and enhance relationships with clients/ prospects.
• Meet and exceed monthly revenue quotas.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• Previous experience in the plumbing industry a plus
• Willingness to travel 4 times a week up to 100 miles per day
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
• Computer skills-proficient in Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and internet search
• Effective communication/comprehension skills-verbal and written
• Ability to function independently and multi-task
