DreamView is seeking a talented Unreal Developer to provide technical production support and enhancement of the game engine pipeline, using Unreal Engine through the creation and/or augmentation of tools and scripts. This is a remote/telecommute position. The studio is 100% virtual and allows the applicant to work ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! RESPONSIBILITIES

The Unreal Developer will be responsible for writing plugins for Unreal, while comfortably using the Unreal Engine build system. They will develop workflows and tools to seamlessly transfer content from DCC software to Unreal. The Developer will craft innovative workflow tools to facilitate and expedite production. They will work with the supervisor to identify the need for custom, show-specific tools, while working with the technical artist to define the project organization. They will be responsible for writing and distributing any tool plugins. We are looking for an efficient developer who is able to rapidly prototype. 

REQUIREMENTS

• C++
• Unreal Engine Blueprints
• Previous experience with the development and support of gaming, animation, and/or VFX pipelines is required
• Production knowledge of the Unreal Engine, including its API
• Demonstrable knowledge of Windows programming
• Production experience with revisions control systems 
• Realtime rendering pipeline and shading language (HLSL and or OpenGL) is an asset
• Project tracking/management systems and database-driven asset management systems is a bonus
• Ability to communicate and/or demonstrate ideas clearly and concisely
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• UI programming
• Ability to perform source control through connecting to an external database 
• Making builds and ensuring there is always a backup of working builds
