DreamView is looking for an experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team and work from 8/9 PM to 5/6 AM (PST).

This position will be the first point of contact in the review process for DreamView's European and Asian vendors.  The successful candidate will evaluate submitted renders and assets for accuracy against client provided reference as well as ensuring all deliverables meet both DreamView and Client technical requirements. This will often involve writing detailed notes supplemented with marked-up visuals in the clearest possible manner to verify vendors understand the required changes and facilitate a quick and efficient delivery timeline.

This is a remote/telecommute position. The studio is 100% virtual and allows the applicant to work anywhere in the world!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working closely with external vendors to quality check their 3d asset submissions ensuring the work is consistent, adheres to technical specifications, and matches provided references, to deliver high-quality data.
• Effectively communicate edit requests and art direction back to the vendors as needed.
• Maintain good documentation and records using our internal tracking system.
• Work independently and prioritize according to multiple deadlines and time-sensitive requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in quality assurance/quality control or similar roles
• Basic knowledge of 3d software and procedures (modeling/texturing/shading)
• Methodical and pays attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of general quality control procedures and methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communications & people skills
• Self-motivated, multi-tasking, ability to work alone, or in a team
• Good time management & ability to work under pressure
• Previous experience in game creation, animation, and/or VFX pipelines is a bonus
