We are seeking a Gaming Prop/Environment Artist to join us on a full-time contract at DreamView.

This is a remote/telecommute position. The studio is 100% virtual and allows the applicant to work ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create functional and efficient real-time assets for a variety of uses. From modeling thru LookDev.
• Track and update the progress of day to day tasks using the designated tracking tools
• Communicate and collaborate with key Leads to confirm task direction and consistency of own work
• Ensure the technical and artistic quality of the assets by collaborating with Leads and Team, making changes when necessary
• Optimization and debugging to fix issues with assets
• Support Leads in any ad hoc tasks and duties.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to adapt to new processes and pipelines
• Understanding of Physically Based Rendering systems
• Knowledge of optimization techniques
• Create and modify textures required for rendering physically-based assets
• Construct basic PBR Shading Networks
• UV unwrapping and layout experience, knowledge of UDIMs a bonus
• Manage texture and shader efficiency
• Working experience with baking textures from high res meshes
• Strong Maya / Max skills
• Strong knowledge of Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marmoset Toolbag, and Unreal.
• Knowledge of AR asset generation and technical requirements a plus
