    Job Description

    “What would you say you do here?”

    • Create an animatic from rough assemble to final lock by implementing well timed edits and incorporating the appropriate dialogue, sound effects and temp music
    • Incorporate notes from the show’s creative directors, producers, and executives during edit sessions and offer creative suggestions when needed
    • Participate in storyboard pitch sessions and animatic screenings
    • Responsible for timely execution of deliverables
    • Work closely with production staff to ensure timely and appropriate implementation of dialogue, music, sound effects, and storyboards
    • After the final screening assist production staff in importing the locked animatic into Adobe Premiere for shipping and tracking purposes
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”

    • Previous editing experience
    • A strong understanding of film making
    • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Storyboard Pro preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines
    • Able to edit quickly in a fast-paced environment

    “What can I offer?”

    • Television animation editing experience preferred
    • Working knowledge of Flix, Photoshop, and After Effects is useful
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines
    • Understanding of animation principles
    • Film enthusiast
    • Highly organized
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
