    “What would you say you do here?”

    ●       Responsible for designing, building, configuring, and maintaining fault tolerant and resilient systems for lengthy deployments. The deployment hardware vendors such as Netapp, HP 3PAR, Avere, Brocade, Tintri, and Qumulo devices

    ●       Responsible for performing POC’s on new technologies

    ●       Responsible for optimizing and improving storage performance for render farm, movie-making pipeline, and artist's network storage access experience

    ●       Responsible for Backup and Restores using Commvault backup services

    ●       Responsible for both software and hardware upgrades

    ●       Responsible for replacing failed hardwares

    ●       Responsible for Disaster and Recovery procedures

    ●       Responsible for outage handling and problem management activities

    ●       Managing Avere products both On-premise and Azure cloud

    ●       Responsible for Qumulo storage management which runs on HPE Apollo 4200 Gen9 and QC208 hardware’s

    ●       Responsible for supporting after-hours On-call and weekend maintenance activities

    ●       Responsible for storage provisioning in On-prem and cloud infrastructure

    ●       Responsible for Day-to-day server/storage performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and fault analysis; hardware troubleshooting and repair

    ●       Responsible for documenting and maintaining Hyperconverged Infrastructure drawings and equipment lists accurately and documenting all infrastructure changes.

  • Qualifications

    “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”

    ●       Minimum of five (5) years of experience installing, configuring and administering a NetApp NAS Storage environment.

    ●       Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Storage System design, performance analysis, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning

    ●       Experience with Network Appliance technologies including FCP, CIFS, NFS, SnapMirror, SnapClone, SnapLock and SnapVault

    ○       Snapmirror - Understanding of snap mirroring on how to do a Source to New Source move, experience with setting up a SnapMirror.

    ○       Migration -Understanding of Netapp permissions (NFS and CIFS), able to ensure the same level of security exists at new filer storage location including qtrees and volumes.

    ●       Experience in multiple operating systems required - Unix, Windows

    ○       UNIX/LINUX - skills such as using commands, mounting file systems, scripting (ability to modify scripts and write scripts)

    ●       Experience with ActiveIQ and Ansible

    ●       Excellent written and verbal communication

    “What can I offer?”

    • NetApp Certification (NCDA/NCIE) a plus
    • Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus
    • Experience with NetApp FAS, AFF, Solidfire, HCI, E-Series and StorageGrid hardwares
    • Experience with Avere systems
    • Experience with Azure cloud
    • Working knowledge of CommVaul
