    • Develop, deploy, and support CG pipeline infrastructure and artists facing tools to enable top-tier Feature Animation production

    • Collaborate with Artists, Technical Directors, Technologists and Leadership 

    • Implement user tools and complex production automation systems

    • Integrate third party Digital Content Creation applications with next generation microservices and distributed databases for digital asset management

    • Apply the Software Development standards utilized throughout the Pipeline Development process across Technology and Show Production

    • Assist in the training of others in the department and key artist representatives

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications “What do I need to have in order to do this job?” ● Strong Object Oriented programming skills ● Linux platform development experience ● Good understanding of source control and build tools (git/github, CMake, Scons) ● Strong verbal and written communication skills ● Self-motivated and detailed approach to problem solving ● Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment. ● Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols in select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated. ● Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols. Desired Characteristics “What can I offer?” ● Degree in Computer Science or equivalent level of experience ● Experience with Digital Content Creation application Development / APIs in one or more of: Maya, Houdini, NUKE, RV, Shotgrid, Z-Brush, Substance Painter, rendering software, render queues ● Knowledge of one or more production workflows: Modeling, Surfacing, Rigging, Previz, Animation, Cloth & Hair, Foliage, Crowds, Lighting, Compositing, DigiMatte, Editorial, Color Finishing ● Programming language experience in: Python, C/C++, Javascript, or Java ● Experience with microservices, databases, and web-based back & front end development ● Experience with developing on Azure and Kubernetes ● Experience developing on Microsoft Windows Additional Information
